Overall the trike represents excellent value. There is a critical fault with the gooseneck stem bolt. It's made of extremely low grade powder coated mild steel, and the hex button head rounds off well before the stem is tight enough to stop the handle bars from easily twisting or popping out entirely. I was able to replace it with a suitable high tensile 180mm M8*1.5 hex cap head bolt and the trike is now operating perfectly within expectations and is safe. I expected better than that and realistically it would have failed product testing before mass production and manufacturer distribution.
