You can use Baby Carrier Mini for your newborn, and no extra infant insert is necessary. You can also use Baby Carrier Mini for both the facing-in position and the facing-out position. You can carry in the facing-out position from around the age of five months, once your baby is strong enough to hold their head up unaided.

How do I adjust my Baby Carrier Mini to fit my growing baby?
- All BabyBjoern Baby Carriers are fully adjustable to fit your growing child. The size adjustment is located on the inside of the seat area, i.e. under the babys bottom. You use the double buckle to adapt the baby carrier according to your childs height.
Does Baby Carrier Mini come in different materials?
- Baby Carrier Mini is available in four super-soft materials: 3D jersey, 3D mesh, satin-woven cotton and a soft, lustrous woven blend - all developed to enhance the closeness between you and your baby.
Does Baby Carrier Mini provide my baby with good support?
- Yes, the soft fabrics gently hug your babys back, legs and hips, and provide good support. You can check your newborns position and the natural curve of their back through the fabric with your hands. Baby Carrier Mini also offers sturdy and adjustable head support.
Can I carry my child in both the facing-in and facing-out positions in Baby Carrier Mini?
- Yes, you can! Please remember that the leg straps should be used to reduce the size of the leg openings for babies between 3.2 and 4.5 kg (7 and 10 lbs ). When you carry your baby in the facing-out position, they should be at least five months old and weigh max. 11 kg (24 lbs). Do you want the option of carrying your child on your back? Can I wash my Baby Carrier Mini?
- Yes, like all our baby carriers, Baby Carrier Mini is machine washable. Machine wash at 40 degrees celcius. Wash separately, preferably in a laundry bag. Use an eco-friendly, mild and bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry. Since our fabrics are free from harmful substances, theres no need to wash your Baby Carrier Mini before you start using it.
When will my child outgrow Baby Carrier Mini?

- All fabrics that come in contact with your childs skin meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means that theyre kind to your babys skin and safe to taste. So theres no need to wash the baby carrier before you start using it.
Washing instructions
- No matter which material you choose, Baby Carrier Mini is machine washable at 40 degrees celcius. It should be washed separately and should not be tumble dried. Please use a mild, eco-certified detergent and strictly follow the dosing instructions. If you have a baby carrier in 3D mesh, do not use fabric softener as it will impair the quality of the fabric.
